Mrs. Gilbert is a 1996 graduate of Clemson University with BA degree in Special Education. She holds Certification in Special Education, Elementary Education. She served on the Council for Exceptional Children 1994-1997. From 1993-1996 she worked as a Medical Technician, Relief Supervisor at Countryside Assisted Living Facility in Easley, SC. In this position she was responsible for administering medication to resident, updating patient records and care plans, supervising staff employees and performed the duties of a Nursing Assistant. Mr. Trevis Dorn Young began his ministry as Immanuel’s Organist and Choir Director Sunday, August 31, 2008. He is a graduate of Wartburg College in Waverly, IA, one of our Lutheran institutions. He is presently enrolled in the Master of Church Music degree program at Erskine Theological Seminary. His professional experience during his undergraduate years includes service as Organist and Bell Choir Director at First Presbyterian Church, St. John’s Episcopal Church, Mason City, IA, and Wesley United Methodist Church. He is presently faculty adjunct accompanist at Erskine. |
